Our Story
The mission of Salix Compass is deeply personal. Founded in 2025 by Jevon Armstrong, the organization was born from a firsthand understanding of the healthcare system's financial barriers. After witnessing his father’s struggle with the exorbitant costs of insulin—and the emotional and financial strain it placed on their family—Jevon committed to building a systemic solution.
We were founded not just on an idea, but on the conviction that compassionate advocacy can and must fix a broken system. Fiscally sponsored by Evergreen Social Impact, we partner with safety-net clinics and government entities like King County to turn that conviction into reality.
